We’re here with a new weekly fun calendar, hoping to encourage you and your family to try something new and experience more of what Kokomo has to offer. Our friends at the Kokomo-Howard County Public Libraries are trying to help us all beat the winter blues with a series of special winter programs. This week the Winter Blues Busters bring us a special opportunity for youth to learn about Black History Month and participate in games and trivia. Winter Blues Busters programs are happening weekly at KHCPL Main in hopes to brighten the dark days of winter. Learn more about this program and many more offered at KHCPL on their website.

Share the nostalgia of playing at the arcade with your family this week. Scanlines Arcade has a new location just off of Dixon Road and is open from 3-10 p.m. on Wednesdays for a ton of fun. On Wednesdays, pinball games are set to only $0.50 per game! They have many pinball games, but also some classic and new arcade games made to test your skills. Our local Kokomo McDonalds host their Family McFun nights every Thursday. Different activities and supplies are provided for families to enjoy and meal together with some extra fun. Common activities include games, art, and special activities for the holidays. Each location may offer a different activity alongside the family fun.

Celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day with the Kokomo-Howard County Public Libraries at KHCPL South. This special event is designed to celebrate and spread the joy of kindness. There will be many carnival booths you can stop at to complete activity as an act of kindness. A few examples would be coloring a bookmark or placemat for a local senior citizen and creating a cat toy to be donated to the animal shelter. Among the kindness activities there will be carnival games where kids can play to earn prizes. What a fun way to learn about and practice kindness together! Fun for the whole family
Check out Gravity Trampoline Park on Sundays for open jump from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and salvation from 6-8 p.m. Open jump allows the whole family to jump around the entire park listening to the top music hits at $15 per hour of jump time. Later in the day salvation jump time gives you access to the trampoline park for $12 with your favorite worship music playing.
