This week the Winter Blues Busters bring us a special opportunity for youth to create and play with play dough. The Very Early Childhood Education Center, the ultimate play space for preschoolers, offers open play hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday each week. This Tuesday, Feb. 11 there will be a Valentine’s Celebration with crafts, activities, and snowballs beginning at 10 a.m. This free, public resource center provides many opportunities for play and learning. The play space includes toys, structures that inspire imaginative play, and hands-on learning activities that encourage building and engineering. For only $8 you and your child (ages 6 and under) can jump and play into the weekend. Open jump follows where individuals of all ages can jump for $15 per hour or $25 for two hours.
