The New Baby Bunch meets weekly on Mondays at KHCPL South. This group is a great place to meet fellow caregivers. Being a first-time parent or caregiver can be difficult so this group is available to all looking for friendship, support, and the chance to share in their parenting journey. Have a Nerf War at The Zone | 6-9 p.m.

Instead of having darts all over your house, take your kids to play with their favorite Nerf Guns at The Zone. During Open hours you can stop by and play for $10 per hour or arrange a private event. The lighting and atmosphere makes it feel like a real party. The Zone also offers Laser Tag and Gellyball for your group or next event. Be sure to call or visit their website for more information.

Share the nostalgia of playing at the arcade with your family this week. Scanlines Arcade has a new location just off of Dixon Road and is open from 3-10 p.m. on Wednesdays for a ton of fun. On Wednesdays pinball games are set to only 50 cents per game! They have many pinball games, but also some classic and new arcade games made to test your skills. Do you have family members that are curious about the universe? Join the KHCPL Staff and special guest BJ Austin, President at IN Space LLC. Austin is a distinguished NASA Solar System Ambassador and will share his experiences in space exploration with program participants. Just in time for the total solar eclipse next week. Storytime and Pottery Painting at Fired Arts Studio | 11 a.m.- 12:30p.m.

Main St. Kokomo, IN 46901 | (765) 450-3088This is a NEW workshop where artists ages 3 and up are welcome to express themselves by decorating a beautiful piece of pottery at Fired Arts Studio with a parent or guardian. The workshop will begin with a story read aloud and then transitions to a fun themed project related to the story. A reservation is required because seating is limited. Depending on interest and participation this new workshop series will be offered twice a month in the coming months. You can find more details about this workshop and more on their website.

Gather your friends and get ready to hunt for Eggs at the Kokomo Parks & Recreation Department annual youth Easter Egg Hunt. Easter may be over, but that’s no excuse to miss out on the fun. Prepare to arrive before 1 PM as that is when the horn will blow to begin hunting. Please note that this free and public egg hunt is for youth under the age of 14 only. Fun for the Whole FamilyThe Kirkendall Nature Center is currently operating on their winter schedule with open hours on Tuesday and Thursday during the week and on Saturday and Sunday. The nature center is home to many Kokomo Parks and Recreation Department (KPRD) activities including creature features throughout the summer months. If you’ve never visited the nature center, it is a great place to learn more about local wildlife species, plants and insects. In addition to the preserved and live animals, the nature center has games, books, and other hands-on activities for the whole family to enjoy.
