Turkey-Mantis Coloring Contest Submissions

Since the beginning of the month, The Kokomo Post has been buzzing with creativity as we hosted an online coloring contest. Collaborating with the talented local artist MaKayla Keating from Saint Design Studios, we presented our audience with an endearing illustration featuring a turkey-mantis, a playful nod to the beloved praying mantis statue in downtown Kokomo.

To showcase the incredible talent in our community, we’ve compiled a full gallery of the submitted artwork. As a team, we faced the challenge of narrowing down the entries to what we believe are the top 10 submissions. Now, the stage is set for public participation as voting officially begins! You can start voting on your favorites now by clicking here. The voting period will end on Nov. 19, and we will announce the winners on Nov. 20.

We've partnered with some awesome local businesses to offer prizes for the first, second and third place winners.

First place winner: a turkey from Red Dog Saloon and 10 hours of jump time at Gravity Trampoline Park.

Second place winner: a turkey from Red Dog Saloon and 7 hours of jump time at Gravity Trampoline Park.

Third place winner: a turkey from Red Dog Saloon and 3 hours of jump time at Gravity Trampoline Park.

A big thank you to all of the little artist that submitted their artwork to our online coloring contest. Be on the lookout for more fun and interactive content here on The Kokomo Post.
