The Radish Summer Food and Art Market Brings Life to Downtown Kokomo

Live music filled the streets of downtown Kokomo Thursday night, as locals crowded the south alley of the Courthouse Square. Every Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. through the end of August, The Radish Market & Cafe is hosting its Summer Food and Art Market where guests can enjoy live music, fresh baked goods and produce, art and so much more.

After hosting a farm-to-fork event in one of the downtown alleys previously, the owner of The Radish Market & Cafe, Adrienne Partlow, said she saw the importance of finding a way to liven up downtown spaces.

“I love running the store, but I miss the market atmosphere,”’ said Partlow. “So I wanted to give [the vendors] an opportunity to be out here. This is a way for people to get to know the people making the products in the store and to get some direct sales.”
