Kokomo’s weekend event calendar is buzzing with information to plan the best weekend ever. From the once-in-a-lifetime total solar eclipse passing through Kokomo next Monday, to Disney trivia, basketball and more, you’ll find it all right here in the ‘Mo.
First Friday The Eclipse
First Friday is back and it’s the perfect time to get out and celebrate the upcoming eclipse! Fired Arts Studio will have a new selection of celestial-themed pottery and there will be game demos at Kingdom Cards and Games. Crossroads Community Church Downtown will also be participating in games and Moon Pies.
Stop by Artworks Gallery, 210 N. Main St., and get free eclipse glasses and children’s crafts while supplies last.

Adult Easter Egg Hunt
Grab your running shoes and your flashlight for this adult Easter egg hunt hosted by the Kokomo Parks Department! The horn sounds at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 6 in Jackson Morrow Park and inside the eggs are some serious prizes! From treats and gift cards to other larger prizes (that won’t fit inside an egg!)
Wristbands are $5 (cash only) and are available at the Kokomo Parks and Recreation Department in Highland Park. You must have a wristband to participate!
