Game of the Week: Northwestern Tigers vs. Western Panthers (Photo Gallery)
Friday night’s Kokomo Post Sports Game of the Week, partnered with Robert Miller & Son Furniture, took us to Northwestern High School to see the Tigers fight it out against the Western Panthers. Out from the start, the Northwestern, grabbed the ball from the tip and had immediate control of the ball. They finished the first quarter 12-10. Going into half time Western stayed in the game finishing the half out 28-17. Western returned to the court after halftime to put the game out of reach of Northwestern. It was clear the mindset Western had returning to the court because the Panthers finished the third quarter out 39-27. Northwestern continued to fight, but Western held out and put the final score 51-36.
