The Kokomo Post Picks of the Week - June 26th
Hey Kokomo! Welcome to our Kokomo Post Picks of the week where our staffers and interns pick the things they’re enjoying from all around our favorite city! In no particular order:
Patagonia Fleetwith Romper from P.F. Hendricks.
We hope you’ve been to P.F. Hendricks downtown Kokomo. It’s one of our favorite shopping spots in Kokomo that carries many of our favorite brands. Our pick of the week is a romper that will keep you cool all summer long. The Patagonia Fleetwith Romper is a multifunctional one-piece romper. It’s made of a 91% recycled polyester/9% spandex blend that’s stretchy, quick-drying and resists wrinkling. Fair Trade Certified™ sewn. We love it!
Pineapple Fried Rice from Jay’s Thai
Jay’s Thai is one of our favorite lunch spots in town. Our pick this week is their Pineapple Fried Rice. It’s jasmine white rice stir-fried with onion, tomato, peas, pineapple, cashews, egg, curry powder and your choice of meat (pictured here is chicken). It can hold it’s own as a meal or it can accompany one of their amazing curries as a side dish. Either way, yum!
Wings from Cook McDoogal’s
The traditional wings from Cook McDoogal’s are hard to beat. You’re downtown Kokomo. You’re enjoying your favorite drink. You’re ordering this classic appetizer. You’re making the right choices with your life.
We DO need your help to settle a debate: should we order ranch of bleu cheese as the dipping sauce for these wings? Let us know in the comments.
Special thanks to intern Corbin for this pick!
What do you think Kokomo? We want to hear your picks of the week!
