The Kokomo Post Picks of the Week - July 10th

Hey Kokomo! Welcome to our Kokomo Post Picks of the week where our staffers and interns pick the things they’re enjoying from all around our favorite city! In no particular order:

Majestic Foot Spa- Our first pick of the week is truly a gem of Kokomo. Majestic Foot Spa is located off Markland in the plaza with Big Lots and Walmart. They specialize in foot reflexology and full body massage. An hour full body massage with foot reflexology is only $35. This isn’t your typical spa experience though, you remain fully clothed. Pro tip: wear comfortable clothes like a T-shirt and leggings so you can fully enjoy your massage. These massages aren’t for the weak though, these are deep tissue massages that will leave you feeling divine. Be sure to tip your massage therapist!

Taku Lunch Specials- How have we not heard about these until now? For less than $10, you can choose two sushi rolls (not pieces, entire rolls!) and either Taku’s yummy soup or house salad. This is such a great lunch option!

There are other lunch special options if sushi isn’t your thing. There are teppanyaki choices, rice, noodle, and appetizer choices, for prices that are so low they could compete with some fast food restaurants. So. Much. Yum.

Popping Bubble drinks from Popcorn Cafe- We love how our friends at Popcorn Cafe are making familiar old fountain drinks exciting! They’re adding popping Boba, which are traditionally found in Asian bubble teas, to familiar favorites like Sprite, Lemonade and Coke! I’m about to head there now to put a spin on my order. Diet Coke with cherry popping boba please!

What do you think Kokomo? We want to hear your picks of the week!
