Children’s Pedicure at Summit Salon Academy

One special thing I remember doing as a child was getting pedicures with my mom. But recently, when I wanted to do the same for my niece, finding an appointment on a Saturday that had children’s pedicures was hard.

I called Summit Salon Academy, booked an appointment and the rest was history!

Here are some things to note:

  • The services are performed by supervised students.

  • The children’s pedicure is for ages 12 and under and you need an appointment.

  • The price starts at just $13.

This was a special experience and they did a great job making this the start of a fun day in Kokomo!

White Pizza from Oscar’s Pizza

Oscar’s Pizza has the flavor pairings down to a science. My favorite pizza there consists of a garlic butter base, ricotta, mozzarella, black pepper and fresh basil. Next time you want to take a leap and try something other than pepperoni, add this to your list!

Reopening of Scoop’s Ice Cream

It’s no April Fools joke! Scoop’s Ice Cream opened up for the season on April 1. I had to stop by yesterday and get the lemon cheesecake ice cream and it was just as rich and decadent as you can imagine. Get a sweet bite to celebrate spring break!
