Spice, Sweetness, and Disappointment: A Review of Pizza Hut's Hot Honey Wings

In the video series, The Kokomo Post Mini Tries, hosts Bree and Erin venture into the realm of culinary exploration trying all of the trendiest and newest foods and treats in the Kokomo food scene. In the latest episode, the duo sampled Pizza Hut's latest addition to their menu: the Hot Honey Wings.

The two were excited to dive into the hot wing adventure considering their mutual love for all things spicy. However, it wasn't long before reality set in. Erin's first reaction? A mixture of surprise, as the sweetness of the wings was overwhelming, and was swiftly followed by a fiery kick that left her with a spice-induced cough.

Bree, also overwhelmed by the sweetness of the honey, mentioned that this dish might be more suitable for the honey loving icon-Pooh Bear himself. However, even her love for all things spicy, she couldn't mask the disappointment.

As self-proclaimed “hot heads,” both Bree and Erin found themselves taken aback by the intensity of the spice. Sadly, the verdict was clear: Pizza Hut's Hot Honey Wings failed to impress.

In their solemn duty as food critics for this series, the duo were obligated to give their usual 1-5 emoji ranking. Regrettably, on a scale of 1 to 5 bumble bee emojis, these wings garnered a disappointing score.
