Little Foodies Review: Krispy Kreme's Southern Sweets Doughnuts by Dolly Parton

Another episode of Little Foodies just aired on The Kokomo Post! Our trusted mini tasters are back, ready to try out the trendiest treats, drinks, and eats, sharing their unfiltered opinions. In the most recent episode, the trio took on a sweet challenge: the limited edition Southern Sweets donut collection from Krispy Kreme, a delicious collaboration with none other than the country music legend Dolly Parton.

This collection is filled with different flavors, so we thought it was only fitting to have each of the kids try out a different one. Ellie, our adventurous taster tried out the Banana Puddin’ Pie donut. True to its name, Ellie confirmed it did not disappoint when it came to banana flavor.

Brennen, known for being our pickiest taster, tried out the Dolly Dazzler donut, a strawberry-flavored delight. Despite his usual aversion to strawberry-flavored treats, Brennen was surprised.

“That is surprisingly good for being strawberry because I like nothing strawberry!” he said

And, last but not least, Jude, perhaps our most vocal and descriptive critic, tried out the Chocolate Cream Pie donut. As soon as he took his first bite, he described the donut in three words: “TASTES. LIKE. OREO.” For those familiar with Jude’s high standards, this was quite the endorsement!
