Favorite Frozen Treats in Kokomo

Hey Kokomo! It’s been hot in Kokomo lately, and you know one of our favorite ways to cool off is with a frozen treat. We admit that we’re biased, but our city has some of the best ice cream in the Hoosier state. You have our Kokomo Post honor that we’re not going to recommend anything to you that we ourselves haven’t experienced and enjoyed. In no particular order:

Scoops Ice Cream - Almond Joy Ice Cream

This is arguably the best flavor at Scoops. That is, if you like coconut, chocolate, and almonds. If you’ve never been to Scoops, we have warn you: order a size smaller you think you want. To say they are generous with their scoops of ice cream is an understatement. Ahh, we get it. Scoops.

Cone Palace- Smoothies

It could be easy to overlook the smoothies on Cone Palace’s menu because of how many other delicious dessert choices there are. Don’t forget about them though, they’re almost a smoothie/milkshake hybrid. As expected, Cone Palace uses real fruit in their smoothies, making these a perfect summer treat!

Kokomo Frozen Custard- Nut Bars

These treats are home made with their famous vanilla custard and they’re the perfect size for an after dinner sweet treat. Not too big, not too small, they’re just right.

*Bonus pick* Hydration Station - Drumstick Parfait

This treat is worth the drive to Greentown. It’s a deconstructed version of a childhood favorite. Remember those drumstick cones that came in the wrappers? This parfait is vanilla soft serve layered with waffle cone pieces, and chocolate shell. So tasty.
