Kokomo Artists’ Alley Gets New Installations for 2021
Hey Kokomo! Located at 210 North Main Street is a wonderful addition to downtown Kokomo, Artist Alley. Artist Alley is an outdoor Art Gallery that is lit and open to the public all year round. The Kokomo Art Association and the Greater Kokomo Downtown Association have worked together to transform this once dark and dreary alley into space for local artists to express themselves and their work.
And to celebrate Mayor Tyler Moore’s 50th birthday this Friday, they are updating the Alley with 16 new pieces of art for the 2020-2021 year! Pieces include acrylic paintings, mixed media pieces, and even a stone sculpture!
This week at First Friday’s Artapalooza, the artists whose projects have been chosen for this year’s display, will present and explain their art.
Afterward, enjoy cake, and hors d'oeuvres from Main Street Café and then join Tyler Moore for a free movie at Kokomo Municipal Stadium!
