Our Feelings about living in Kokomo inspired by Disney’s ‘Inside Out 2’
If you haven’t seen the new animated movie that is taking the box offices by storm, you are truly missing out. Rated PG and considered a family/comedy film, “Inside Out 2” is an incredible perspective on the emotions of our teenage main character Riley. Adults and kids will enjoy the spark and empathize with experiences and situations presented in the film. It is currently showing at our local AMC Classic Kokomo 12. Let us share our feelings about Kokomo with the help of our favorite characters from the movie.
JOY
A feeling our staff truly feels when we find ways to inform and uplift the members of our community, but we also are joyous when we know fun things are happening in town. Who else feels like this when summer is here and Kokomo Beach opens?
ANGER
It’s easy to let anger take control, especially when there is construction around town or you get stopped by every single stoplight on 931 and you’re just trying to get a drink from Doubting Thomas Coffee & Cafe.
DISGUST
We feel this way when we hear people say “Kokomo is so boring.” We have plenty of ways to prove you wrong in this article.
ENVY
We don’t want to act in envy often, but even our staff feels discontent knowing that we STILL don’t have a Chick-Fil-A in Kokomo. So when someone invites us to lunch out of town, we say yes.
ANXIETY
We’re not sure how you all feel, but the live music scene in Kokomo is fire. How can I make it to all of our concerts or which ones should I choose?
NOSTALGIA
Some of our staff have lived in the Kokomo area all of their lives, while others are becoming more familiar. However, we all feel nostalgic when we think of the memories we’ve made here and the special things that makes Kokomo feel like home.
