As mothers ourselves, we understand all too well that the burden of planning often falls on our own shoulders. That’s why we’ve curated this series to provide you with some fantastic ideas that you can easily pass along to your family, ensuring an ideal Mother’s Day celebration without the stress.
In our first episode, we had the pleasure of teaming up with Ashley Peters from ANP Photography to explore a truly unique mommy and me photoshoot experience. Now, we all know that mommy and me photoshoots are incredibly popular, especially during this time of year. But let’s be honest – the thought of organizing family pictures can often feel more stressful than enjoyable. That's where Ashley’s genius concept comes in!
What sets Ashley’s photoshoots apart is that they’re not just about capturing moments – she says they’re about creating unforgettable experiences. Teaming up with another local gem, Little Miss Cupcakes, Ashley offers a twist to the traditional photoshoot – a cookie decorating experience. Imagine telling your kids you’re off to a luxurious cookie decorating workshop, while Ashley captures every precious moment on camera.
In the video, you’ll see how effortlessly the kids get lost in decorating cookies, hardly noticing the presence of cameras or strangers. From sprinkles to icing, flour to laughter, the atmosphere was full of joy and creativity. There was no pressure to be picture-perfect – just an invitation to get messy and have fun!
As a mom, this experience was unmatched! Not only did I get to spend quality time with my little ones without any tears or fussing, but I also walked away with beautiful memories captured on camera – memories that I’ll cherish for a lifetime. After all, as moms, we're usually the ones behind the camera. This photoshoot is the perfect opportunity to update those family albums with beautiful, candid moments.
