Missy’s Family Restaurant Opens Second Location on South Side of Kokomo

Kokomo’s breakfast spot Missy’s Family Restaurant has opened a second location! Nestled in the plaza at 4005 S. Webster St., near Jackson Morrow Park, this new establishment occupies the former space of Glover’s Pizza and Ice Cream.

The downtown Missy’s location is known for its menu, but also for its cozy ambiance. The new location offers more space for diners while maintaining the warm and welcoming atmosphere with its signature warm, orange walls, homey decor and charming checkered floors.

Missy Carmona, the owner of Missy’s Family Restaurant, shared insights into the expansion.

“We wanted to accommodate the needs of our current customers who can't always make it to our downtown location, as well as reach some new customers,” Carmona said.

One burning question I had was whether the menu at the new location would differ from the original downtown spot.

Rest easy; the menu remains unchanged. Carmona said there will be daily specials, presenting an opportunity for patrons to explore new and exciting dishes. She said it’s a perfect blend of familiarity and novelty for Missy’s loyal customers and those eager to try the restaurant's offerings.

The new location features a drive-thru, allowing customers the option to pick up to-go orders through the window, providing an efficient solution for those who prefer takeout over dining in.
