Local Pre-K & Kindergarten Round Up 2023
It’s that time of the year again. If you have a Kindergartener ready to start school this year, stay calm! We have all the details you need to get started.
Western Primary School:
March 7 & 9: by appointment only. Call 765-883-5528 to schedule a visit.
The child must be 5 years old by Aug. 1, 2023, to be enrolled in Kindergarten.
Eastern Elementary School
Parent info night is 6 p.m. March 8 in the elementary cafeteria.
Kindergartener fun night is 6 to 7:30 p.m. March 22 at the elementary school.

Sts. Joan of Arc & Patrick School
Families with children entering Preschool: Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten this fall are welcome to St. Patrick School at 1230 N. Armstrong St., from 5:45 to 7 p.m. March 14 to learn about the school, visit teachers and have fun!
Applications will be available starting March 3 via email - new student applications will be available beginning March 14 at https://stsjp.org/enrollment.
Taylor Elementary School
Kindergarten and Tiny Titans Preschool Round-Up for the 2023 school year will be held on March 15. Appointments are necessary. Please call 765-453-3800 to make an appointment.
Parents should complete the new student enrollment at www.taylor.k12.in.us prior to arrival. Please bring the original birth certificate, proof of immunizations, social security card and proof of residency.
Children should be in attendance to meet teachers and participate in activities.
The child must be 5 years old by Aug. 1, 2023, to be enrolled in Kindergarten.
The child must be 4 years old by Aug. 1, 2023, to be enrolled in pre-K.
The child must be 3 years old by Aug. 1, 2023, and potty trained to be enrolled in preschool.
Northwestern Elementary School
Northwestern Elementary School will be holding its Kindergarten Round-up on Thursday, April 20.
Round-up appointments for students in the district or who have a sibling already attending NES from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Parents must bring their child’s birth certificate, immunization records and two proofs of residency.
To make an appointment for round-up, please call the school office by Tuesday, April 18, 2023. The number is 457-8101, extension 5001.
Howard Elementary
Howard Elementary School will be holding its Kindergarten Round-Up for the 2023-2024 school year on Friday, April 283.
Parents need to bring their child’s birth certificate and immunization records.
To qualify for kindergarten enrollment, a child must be 5 years of age on or before Aug. 1, 2023. An informal assessment of readiness skills, a vision, and an orientation for students will be held.
