It’s been an eventful week in Kokomo between the Haynes Apperson festival, playoff games with the Kokomo Bobkats and so much more! And if you’re anything like us, you haven’t thought ahead to the weekend and you may be wondering about your options for local fireworks shows. Check them out below!
Kokomo Jackrabbits
Celebrate America the best way possible, while watching a Kokomo Jackrabbits baseball game! End the night with fireworks to celebrate one of their biggest nights of the season! Tickets are available for purchase here.
Family Worship Center
On July 1st, check out what’s going on at 1149 East Center road in Kokomo at the Family Worship Center! They will be hosting a family-friendly fireworks show with popcorn, hotdogs, and face painting! Make sure to arrive early for the activities, with the show set to start at 10 pm.
Haynes Apperson Festival
This Thursday, Friday and Saturday the annual Haynes Apperson Festival will be at Foster Park in downtown Kokomo! Enjoy 3 days of food, rides, live music, a parade, a car show, and so much more! Find a spot downtown on Saturday at 10 pm to help finish off the festival with a bang!
Howard County 4-H Fairgrounds
Take a trip to Greentown to enjoy one of the largest fireworks shows in our area! This free show will include the opportunity to buy food from several food trucks. So get out there and enjoy a great production on July 4th!
Kokomo Speedway
If you’re looking to satisfy your need for speed, check out the race at Kokomo Speedway and enjoy fireworks afterward! Admission is $15 for adults and free for children under age 12. Check out their Facebook page for more information!
