The Kokomo Post Picks of the Week - May 26

Hey, Kokomo! Welcome to our Kokomo Post Picks, where our staffers pick the things they’re enjoying from all around our favorite city! In no particular order:

Downtown Kokomo Farmers Market

The downtown Kokomo Farmer’s Market is back for the season, and it’s nothing short of magical. The fresh smell of coffee and warm baked goods, plants, flowers, local honey and so much more! The Farmer’s Market is every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon through the end of September. Pictured on the left is a wreath made by Makerspace students at Kokomo Urban Outreach.

The Farmer’s Market is located on the corner of Mulberry and Washington streets.

Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake from Just Baked by Trisha

Our coworker Pam made a trip over to Just Baked by Trisha in Peru for this sweet treat!

She said “Zesty lemon, balanced with sweet blueberries. This cheesecake is the perfect dessert for late spring/early summer! It’s light and refreshing and the best way to end a meal!”

Just Baked by Trisha is located at 761 N. Broadway St., Peru

Whether is trying a new restaurant or going somewhere you didn’t know existed, we hope you get out and create new in Kokomo this holiday weekend.
