Gyro Salad from Julianno’s

This has become a go-to meal. For me, the gyro salad from Julianno’s is one of the best salads in Kokomo. Fresh salad greens served with gyro meat, pita triangles, tzatiziki sauce, onions, tomato, feta cheese.

This deconstructed gyro dish is crazy delicious, there’s really no debating. The only thing we need to debate is: do you pronounce it JEE-row or YEE-row or JIE-row?

The Kokomo Post team needs to know.

Single Ladies Iced Latte from Doubting Thomas

Do we have an insider tip for you! The Single Ladies Iced Latte is technically off the menu, but the baristas at Doubting Thomas (inside Cross America) will know what you mean and they'll make it for you!

It’s a lavender chocolate iced latte. You read that correctly. Honestly? If you’re looking for a signature summer drink, this is it.

Buffalo Chicken Salad from Cook McDoogal’s

This is apparently the week of the salad. Our final pick of the week is the Buffalo Chicken Salad from Cook McDoogal’s. It’s spring mix, romaine, chicken tenders tossed with wing sauce, celery, red onion, and blue cheese crumbles.
This is the perfect weekday lunch - you get the heat of the wing sauce balanced with the cool veggies and finished with the blue cheese tang. It’s become a go-to lunch option for our office!

What do you think Kokomo? We want to hear your picks of the week!
