Sausage Po’ Boy from Poulard’s Cajun Cuisine

Chef Ken and Miss Darlene are up to something really special over at Poulard’s Cajun Cuisine. They’re rolling out new menu items soon and this sausage po’ boy is one of my favorites.

Ken Poulard is dedicated to serving Kokomo the most authentic Cajun food. He travels down to Louisiana to source the ingredients for his dishes. Talk about dedication to his craft. The andouille sausage on this sandwich is brought to us from Louisiana Cajun country and it is incredible. This post pick is a must-try.

Sausage Sauerkraut Balls from Julianno's

This appetizer is a true hidden gem. Julianno’s is known for its smoked meats and tasty gyros, but today, you need to know about these handmade sauerkraut sausage balls. Of course, these are for the ‘kraut lovers out there, so if you’re not a fan of sauerkraut, steer clear.

These are so tasty - they’re slightly sour, tangy, and savory. They’re the best addition to a meal, but they are very hearty you’ll want to share.

Chicken Bacon Ranch Eggrolls from Walt & Shirley’s Bar & Grill

Chicken. Bacon. Ranch. CBR, one of the best trifectas ever invented. This combination of flavors is wrapped up in some of the best egg rolls you've ever tasted.

Order them as an appetizer at Walt & Shirley’s (or as your entree, we won’t judge) and enjoy all the crunchy, creamy, savory flavors. They’re served with a sweet pineapple mango dipping sauce that is out of this world.

OH! One last note: you can order a vegan version of these egg rolls. Both versions are completely delicious.

What do you think Kokomo? We want to hear your picks of the week!
