The Kokomo Post Picks of the Week - Feb. 26
Hey, Kokomo! Welcome to our Kokomo Post Picks of the week where our staffers and interns pick the things they’re enjoying from all around our favorite city! In no particular order:
Shrimp Po’ Boy from Poulard’s Cajun Cuisine
Hands-down our favorite lunch of the week was from Poulard’s Cajun Cuisine. We realize we are low-key obsessed with this south-side restaurant, but it’s well deserved. The Po’ Boy is an iconic sandwich on french bread with fresh shrimp and their homemade creole sauce. So much yum!
Taco Bell Style Chili Cheese Burritos from Mo Joe’s
If you loved the Chili Cheese Burrito from Taco Bell, please 𝚠̶𝚊̶𝚕̶𝚔̶ run to Mo Joe’s on your lunch break. You’ll get the familiar hit of nostalgia with the first bite. It’s a soft tortilla with a filling that definitely has chili beans and cheese, and all the other ingredients that make it delicious. Mo Joe’s, if you’re reading this, please add this to your regular rotation!
The only thing missing is that poorly folded paper wrapper that we love eating our true Taco Bell treats from. *googles vintage Taco Bell wrappers*
Camel Jacket from The Jefferson House of Flowers and Boutique
Listen.👏🏽Up.👏🏽 If you’re sleeping on the fact that The Jefferson House of Flowers is not only a florist, it’s time we introduce you to their boutique. It’s absolutely adorable and full of on-trend apparel items, accessories, gifts and home decor.
Our pick this week is this camel jacket. Not too warm but not too light, this is the perfect piece to add to your closet as our Kokomo weather transitions from arctic tundra to sunny wetland.
Roll your windows down, throw on your sunglasses, and cruise down Sycamore in style.
What do you think Kokomo? We want to hear your picks of the week!
