The Kokomo Post Picks of the Week - Aug. 27
Hey, Kokomo! Welcome to our Kokomo Post Picks of the week where our staffers and interns pick the things they’re enjoying from all around our favorite city! In no particular order:
Indiana Keychains from Annemarie’s Boutique Kokomo
We are loving these adorable Indiana keychains from Annemarie’s Boutique - one of the newest additions to the downtown Kokomo scene.
Each keychain is an individual piece of art - uniquely crafted in the shape of our beloved Hoosier state. At $10 each, these make the perfect addition to a birthday gift for a friend or how cool would these be as a zipper pull on a Koko-kid’s school backpack?
Sari Bari bags from PF Hendricks
Sari Bari bags were a new discovery for us this week and we could not love them more! These bags are made by hand by women who are brave survivors of trafficking. Making these bags creates a life of freedom for the individuals who make them.
In addition to the incredible cause, these bags are made from upcycled saris with the most vibrant colors! Good cause? Ecologically responsible? Adorable pops of color? You have to check these out!
Lavender Vanilla Cold Brew from The Farmers’ Market Store & Cafe
The Farmer’s Market Store and Cafe has been crushing the culinary game this summer. This week, a new beverage was introduced and it is the thing millennial dreams are made of.
The lavender vanilla cold brew strikes the perfect blend of refreshing and creamy. It’s exactly what we need at the end of summer while we’re cruising down 931 blasting the hits of the ’00s.
What do you think Kokomo? We want to hear your picks of the week!
