Kokomo for the Holidays 2022

If you’re home for the holidays in Kokomo this year, you aren’t going to want to miss these extra special holiday events and activities for a memorable time together.


  • Greentown Christmas Lights Head to Pioneer Village at the Howard County 4-H Fairgrounds in Greentown for a walk or drive-through light show from 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 25-26 and Dec. 1-24.

  • City of Lights in Highland Park Take a walk or a drive through Highland Park this holiday season for a light display from 6 to 10 p.m. from Nov. 25 to Dec. 24. Free-will donations

  • The Frozen Sandlot Kokomo Municipal Stadium has transformed into an ice skating rink for the winter! Click here for more information! Nov. 25 to Jan. 8

  • Lights in the Airpark at Grissom Air Force Base is open from 4:30 to 9 p.m. every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from Nov. 25 to Jan. 1.

    • Admission is $5 per person, children 5 and younger are free.

    • Grissom Air Force Base is located at 1000 W. Hoosier Blvd., Peru.

  • Christmas at the Seiberling Mansion From Nov. 26 to Dec. 31, guests can enjoy a historic Christmas tour through the Seiberling Mansion. The opening lighting ceremony takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 26.

    • Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and children under age 5 are free.

    • Free evenings at The Seiberling are from 4 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 1-2, 8-9, and 15-16.

  • Journey Thru Bethlehem Live Nativity The Journey thru Bethlehem production returns this year from 6 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 2 to 4. Enjoy a walk-through dramatization that re-tells the story of Christ’s birth.

    • First Evangelical Presbyterian Church is located at 2000 W. Jefferson St., Kokomo

  • “One Christmas Eve at Evergreen Mall” by Kokomo Civic Theatre The show follows eight intertwined stories in a Midwestern mall on the last day of shopping before the holiday. Watch this live play from Dec. 2 to 4. Click here for more information!

  • Rudolph Family Fun 5K Run/Walk Enjoy a fun, all-ability 5K run/walk for the holidays hosted by the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library! On Dec. 3, you can experience a day of fun, games, and Christmas cheer! Click here to register.

  • Old-Fashioned Christmas Parade in Downtown Kokomo at 5:30 pm. Dec. 3, a tradition is returning to Kokomo. Head downtown for a Christmas parade you aren’t going to want to miss!

  • Holiday Brass Quintet Mini-Concert At 3 p.m. Dec. 11, join Kokomo Symphony Orchestra at Grace United Methodist Church for a concert to warm your heart for the holidays. Click here to purchase tickets.

  • Willis Christmas Light Show Beginning on Saturday, Nov. 26, you can head to the Northwest corner of Western Intermediate School’s parking lot for a Christmas light show you don’t want to miss! The Willis family runs the show from 6 to 10 p.m. so make sure to tune in the radio to 91.3 FM to hear the show from your own car!
