Eastern Elementary Hosts First-Ever Kindy 500

Handmade racecars lined the track at Eastern Elementary School on Wednesday to celebrate the Kindergarten class of 2023. Each student spent the weeks leading up to the event designing, decorating and racing in the mock-Indy 500 race.

After racing against other students in each class, the winners went on to race to the finish to crown the 2023 Kindy 500 champion. Check out some photos from the race below.
