After four straight road games, Kokomo was eager to return to its home court at Memorial Gymnasium for a Saturday night matchup against Lewis Cass.
From the opening tip, the Wildkats set the tone, making it clear that Lewis Cass would face an uphill battle. Kokomo’s strong defense fueled its offense, leading to easy fast-break points.
The Wildkats also debuted a new starting lineup, giving several freshmen and sophomores extended playing time.
Regardless of who was on the floor, Kokomo maintained control as Lewis Cass struggled to generate momentum, resulting in a dominant 78-32 victory.
