This fantastic splash pad, located at 105 W. Elm St., offers a refreshing escape for families and children of all ages. The splash pad is named in honor of the late Kokomo Police Department Patrolman Al Berryman, who was killed after responding to a call in Kokomo in 1953.

The Splash Pad is a free facility that opened in September of 2018 and is bordered by the Industrial Heritage Trail.  The "under-the-sea" themed splash pad offers fountains and sprays, shaded seating areas and parking.

Kids can delight in the numerous water jets and sprays that create a playful and dynamic environment. Whether they enjoy running through the fountains or dodging the water streams, there's endless fun!

For the littlest visitors, gentle water streams provide a more subdued, but equally enjoyable, experience. These features ensure that children of all ages and comfort levels can have fun in the water.

One of the best things about the Al Berryman Splash Pad is that it’s free and open to the public!

The Al Berryman Splash Pad is a hidden gem in Kokomo, Indiana, offering a safe, fun and refreshing way to enjoy the summer months.

It’s a testament to the community spirit of Kokomo and a fantastic destination for families looking to cool off and have some fun. So, gather your family and head to the Al Berryman Splash Pad!
