Spring has officially arrived in Kokomo, and with it comes anticipation for warm-weather traditions, local events, and outdoor fun. Topping that list for many is the Riverwalk Concert Series, which just announced its 2025 lineup—and it’s already generating buzz.

Organized by Kyle Gibson, owner of downtown hotspot The Coterie, the Riverwalk Concert Series has grown to become a summer staple in Kokomo. This free, all-ages concert series brings a variety of live music to the heart of the city—and this year’s lineup promises the most diverse range of performances to date.

“We’re offering a wide range of performers this year—country, cover bands, rock and roll, and more,” said Gibson. “It’s the widest range of music we’ve ever offered.”

The full lineup was revealed via a graphic posted to The Coterie’s Facebook page over the weekend. It quickly gained traction online, with local shares and comments from excited fans eager to mark the dates on their calendars.

In addition to the music, this year brings another exciting first: the introduction of DORA (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area) downtown. This allows attendees 21 and older to enjoy alcoholic beverages outdoors within designated boundaries.

“I’m excited about utilizing the DORA downtown,” said Gibson. “This will allow us to serve up some awesome cocktails and drinks for guests to enjoy while they explore downtown and enjoy the shows. It’s the first year we’re able to do cocktails outside, and we’re excited to be serving up good times in every sense.”

Now in its sixth year, the Riverwalk Concert Series has seen significant growth. According to Gibson, attendance has tripled since year one, with larger crowds and new additions every season.

“Each year we grow in a major way, and I’m looking forward to seeing an even bigger turnout this summer,” he said.

Beyond the music, attendees can expect a lively mix of local vendors, craft breweries and community partners, all adding to the vibrant downtown atmosphere.

“People should be excited that we’re collaborating with new breweries and vendors,” Gibson said. “And of course, we’ll still be serving up our signature burgers and brews. Expect good music, good food, local cocktails, and good vibes.”

The Riverwalk Concert Series continues to be a shining example of how local collaboration, creative energy, and community spirit can transform summer nights and entertainment in general in Kokomo.
