In our latest episode, filmed at The Filling Station, we caught up with Biz Bates from Sun King Kokomo. Bates took us on a journey, teaching us how to shake up the perfect cocktail and mocktail to elevate your game day experience. Whether you’re looking for a refreshing non-alcoholic drink or a tasty cocktail to toast to victory, Biz has you covered.

Biz kicks things off by showing Jay how to whip up a non-alcoholic delight – the Sunlight Margarita, the perfect recipe for those skipping the alcohol or a playful treat for the younger crowd.

Sunlight Margarita

  • Rim your glass with lime juice and salt for that classic margarita touch.

  • In a a shaker, combine ice, 1 1/2 ounces sour mix, 3/4 ounce of fresh lime juice, and a splash of simple syrup.

  • Shake it up, pour over ice, and top it off with non-alcoholic beer – Sunlight beer from Sun King is the perfect choice.

  • Garnish with a lime wedge. Ta-da! A refreshing twist on a classic favorite.

Next up, Biz unveils her cocktail of choice – the Cranberry French 75. This cocktail features some unique flavors, combining Sun King gin, cranberry juice, cranberry simple syrup, mint and rosemary for a sophisticated sip.

Cranberry French 75

  • Add ice to your shaker.

  • Pour in 1 ounce of Sun King gin, followed by 1 1/2 ounces of cranberry juice and 1/2 ounce of cranberry simple syrup.

  • Shake it all together, and strain into a cocktail glass.

  • Finish with a lime wedge for an extra burst of flavor. The result? A tasty concoction that marries floral gin with the earthy sweetness of cranberry.
