Memorial Gym is proving to be the place to be on a Friday night in Kokomo. On Friday, January 10th the Kokomo Wildkats hosted the Richmond Red Devils at home in front of what seemed like another sold-out crowd.
This game started off in a classic back-and-forth manner with the Red Devils barely ahead at the end of the first, and the Wildkats barely ahead at the half. However, the second half turned out to be all Wildkats. Kokomo gets their 16th total win of the season and improves to 8-0 in conference play with a 72-62 win. Flory Bidunga finished the game with another double-double and senior Shayne Spear added 16 points as well.
Kokomo will take on county rival Western (11-6) on Tuesday night and then will travel to Anderson (17-3|7-0) for a chance to win the NCC title.
