Kokomo Kids Eat:

Pizzadilla from 3 Amigos Mexican Grill
219 W. Jefferson St., Kokomo, IN 46901
(765) 450-4927

We hadn’t eaten out in a while and I (mom) picked 3 Amigos because Mexican food makes me happy, but my oldest son made an interesting choice for his kid’s meal entree. Enter the Pizzadilla. The menu notes the Pizzadilla as a new item on the kids’ menu in addition to the Arroz Con Pollito. While it’s a complete clash of cultures, he ate the entire thing and most of his side of french fries. He described the Pizzadilla as, “crunchy and tasty” and was not willing to share any of it with his younger brother. So, next time you or your family is hungry for Mexican food, try the new items at 3 Amigos.

Kokomo Kids Play:

The Kidz Korner at One More Gym
3780 S Reed Road, Kokomo, IN 46902
(765) 864-0810

We discovered a family-friendly perk to having a membership and working out at One More Gym. Inside the facility, there is a supervised play area called the Kidz Korner where children ages 6 weeks and up are welcome to play and have fun while their guardian gets a workout in. The Kidz Korner has morning and evening hours to meet the needs of a busy family schedule. Be sure to check out all of the details and recommendations on their website and request a gym tour to learn more.

Kokomo Kids Learn:

TALK text and learn program with KHCPL
https://texttolearn.com/
Text TALK to 75547

As a mom of little ones, I constantly worry if I’m doing enough to encourage my kids to learn or allow them to play in ways that encourage healthy development. After subscribing to the TALK text and learn program with KHCPL, I have so many ideas of simple ways to encourage playtime and create positive conversations with my boys. It’s usually perfectly timed to arrive during that high-energy period of time before dinner. This service is free and sends no more than eight texts a month with simple categorical activities guiding you to play, write, read, talk or sing with your child. All you have to do is text TALK to 75547 to subscribe and end your subscription at any time. Check out the program’s website for more details.
