Kokomo Post Kids Eat, Play, Learn: Oct. 11
Hey Kokomo! It’s that time of the week again. Our staff with kids are happy to share a few of the places their kids like to eat, play, and learn in and around Howard County. Check out this week’s picks for yourself!
Kokomo Kids Eat
Pumpkin Whoopie Pie from Lucky Lemon Bakery
3015 S LaFountain St., Kokomo, IN 46902
765-450-1000
We were so excited to try Lucky Lemon for the first time together and get some yummy treats. Since it’s October, we went in looking for something pumpkin and we found their delicious Pumpkin Whoopie Pies. We got two whoopie pies and split them into four so we each could have a taste. Both kids asked for more and gave it the “yummy” rate of satisfaction. Even my spouse, who isn’t the biggest fan of pumpkin, enjoyed it. However, I was not prepared for the laughs and giggles that would come with the treat in the attempts for both my boys to say “Whoopie Pie.” Totally worth it!
Kokomo Kids Play:

Kokomo Symphony Orchestra’s Golden Gala Concert

2300 S. Washington St., Kokomo, IN 46902

Did you know that most of Kokomo Symphony Orchestra’s (KSO) concerts are FREE for children and K-12 students? This would be a great opportunity to have a night out with your family to help KSO celebrate their 50-year anniversary. Who knows, going to a KSO concert may inspire your kids to want to play an instrument or join the KSO Youth String Program. You can find more information about KSO and their youth programs by visiting their website or by calling (765) 236-0251.
