It’s October, so we want all things pumpkin at our house. One of the first things we grabbed to share in the celebration of the new month was a few pumpkin spice sprinkle cookies from Blondie’s Cookies. They were an extra special after-school treat and I was lucky to get one bite thanks to the parent tax. The kids’ favorite part of the cookie was the swirled cream cheese frosting on top, but together with the moist pumpkin spiced shortbread cookie, is truth ”fall-y” delicious. You can visit both Howard County locations and find this pumpkin cookie as well as their new flavor from last month the Maple Bacon Sprinkle. The Blondie’s Cookies website has all of the delicious details you will need to know about what’s available at the shop.

Kokomo Kids Learn
The Touchscreen Table at The Kokomo-Howard County Public Library located at the KHCPL Main Branch and South Branch
When it's inactive, it looks like a simple black coffee table near the children’s section of the library, but with the touch of a hand, your child can learn and play in a whole new way at the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library. While trying out the touchscreen table at KHCPL South, we played a game called Planet Touch by after-mouse.com that allowed my son and I to interact with different environments like a local park or beach. We put together puzzles made from images of nature and even made digital art. There is even more to explore on this table’s main menu where it offers selections for science, shapes and numbers, flashcards, art, and games. Give it a tap on your visit to KHCPL Main or South.
