Kokomo Post Kids Eat, Play, Learn: Dec. 28
Hey Kokomo! It’s that time of the week again. Our staff with kids are happy to share a few of the places their kids like to eat, play, and learn in and around Howard County. Check out this week’s picks for yourself!
Kokomo Kids Eat
Kid’s Pizza Meal from Stoney’s Sourdough Pizza Co.
125 W. Southway Blvd., Kokomo, IN 46902
(765) 450-6805
Our kids love pizza so we’ve been making the rounds of the local Kokomo Pizza places, this week we went to Stoney’s. Our kids typically want plain pizza like just cheese or pepperoni. They also are becoming more independent and aren’t as good about sharing their food. We were so thankful to see that Stoney’s offers a Kid’s Pizza for only $4. It’s a 7-inch thin crust sourdough pizza with the choice of sauce, cheese, and one topping. Each pizza came in its own box and was cut into kid-sized pieces. The kids’ meal was a win because they both ate about half of the pizza and were even excited for leftover pizza the next day. You can get your family some Stoney’s Pizza by ordering online or by calling the store.
Kokomo Kids Play
Scanlines Arcade
2320 Valentine Drive, Kokomo, IN 46902
Scanlinesarcade@yahoo.com
This local favorite now has a new location and even more games to play! We stopped into Scanlines Arcade this past week to have some fun indoors where it's warm. The new location is spacious and they offer drinks and snacks for purchase there.
My oldest son and I made $10 in quarters last for just shy of an hour of fun. Since he’s young, there was some learning to do like where the buttons are on the pinball machine and how to use a joystick. I also brought a step stool so he could have the best access to the machines and see well.
It was the perfect playdate and we definitely plan to visit again. My son was hooked on the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Game but he was amazed by the lights and sounds of all of the pinball and arcade games. You can check out their Facebook page for details and hours.

The project will be assembling a kid sized tool box. You can reserve your spot online for a one-hour time-slot between 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. Spots are limited, so register early.
