Kokomo Kids Eat
Walking Tacos from Mac’s Express | (765) 865-9700
429 E. Center Road, Kokomo, IN 46902
Sometimes you just need a snack fast. We love to swing by Mac’s Express in times like this. Friendly service at the window and all of your favorite snacks and drinks. Our kids ask for a Bug Juice to drink when we visit, but when we get snacks they love I’m always excited to share walking tacos with them. You’ve maybe had a walking taco from a concession stand or festival, but Mac’s gives you even more options. The taco base is a big bag of Doritos with your choice of taco meat or coney meat. Topping options include, cheese (liquid nacho or shredded), lettuce, tomatoes, onions, jalapenos, and sour cream.

Kokomo Kids Learn
Playaway Launchpad Learning Tablets from the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library
Available to borrow with your library card at all three KHCPL Branches
Whenever we anticipate a long-drive in the car, we borrow some launchpad learning tablets before we hit the road. I love that these tablets have pre-loaded educational games and don’t require use of the internet. You’ll find them in the children’s section of the library in bright orange cases. The learning tablets are categorized by age and subjects. Your kids will be having fun in the backseat and not even realize that they are learning along the way. For more information, visit the KHCPL Website.
