Kokomo Hosts Touch-A-Truck Event

Hey Kokomo! Last Saturday, in honor of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, children and their parents flocked to the GM parking lot for the chance to get up close and personal with Kokomo’s public safety and street department vehicles.
During the free event, children were able to see and touch vehicles like police cars, fire trucks along with dump trucks, bucket trucks, and a backhoe.

Mayor Tyler Moore said he “Loved taking advantage of the opportunity to honor some essential front line workers at today’s Touch-a-Truck event! Such a great event on a great day here in Kokomo!”
