DON’T CALL IT A COMEBACK: Rev. Peyton’s Big Damn Band returns to the stage June 18 for Weberfest, as part of the 2022 Kokomo Summer Concert Series.

The City of Kokomo announced Friday the lineup for the 2022 Kokomo Summer Concert Series at the Kokomo Performing Arts Pavilion in downtown Kokomo.

According to a press release, the concert series — a staple in downtown Kokomo — coincides with many of the summer festivals. This year’s lineup features Beatles and Prince tribute bands, as well as regional favorite The Flying Toasters and the return of Rev. Peyton’s Big Damn Band.

In the release, Mayor Tyler Moore said the series is a vital part of summer in Kokomo.

“Our city is blessed with a tremendous venue in the Kokomo Performing Arts Pavilion,” said Moore, in the release. “The sound of music filling the air in Foster Park has become an integral part of summer in Kokomo. We are looking forward to enjoying these great bands in the coming months.”

The concerts are general admission and free to the public.
