The Kokomo BobKats and Logansport Iron Horses have quickly developed one of The Basketball League’s fiercest rivalries. Both matchups this season have come down to the wire, with Kokomo emerging victorious once again. The BobKats’ 116-113 win was filled with lead changes, trash talk, and a staggering nine technical fouls.

The game began with choppy play, as neither team could find an offensive rhythm. But as the first quarter progressed, the BobKats slowly imposed their will, closing the period with a 33-28 lead.

The second quarter followed a similar pattern, with Kokomo maintaining its shooting efficiency at over 50% from the field. However, the game took a chaotic turn as technical fouls became more frequent, heightening tensions between players and coaches. As the first half ended, both teams engaged in a heated verbal exchange at the buzzer, with the BobKats holding a 65-55 advantage.

The third quarter was marred by questionable officiating and growing frustration on both sides. A double technical was assessed to players from each team, and both head coaches also received technical fouls. More whistles followed in the fourth quarter, adding to the game’s intensity.

Logansport found success by crashing the offensive glass and tightening its defense, gradually chipping away at Kokomo’s lead. By the end of the third quarter, the BobKats held a slim 91-87 advantage, but the Iron Horses had momentum heading into the final period.

Logansport carried that energy into the fourth quarter, quickly taking the lead within the first few minutes. Nearly every made basket was met with passionate celebrations from Iron Horses players. The BobKats, however, responded by ramping up their defensive pressure. As the game entered its final moments, every possession became crucial.
