The Coterie

Skipping alcohol doesn’t mean you have to skip the fun at The Coterie! This nameless mocktail that I’m taking the liberty in naming “The Gibson” created by owner Kyle Gibson himself includes flavors of lime, orgeat syrup, passion fruit brown sugar, non-alcoholic ginger beer, and cranberry. Take a sip and you’ll be surprised that this guilt-free mocktail contains zero alcohol!

Pro tip: All the bartenders at The Coterie have their own favorite mocktail recipes. Don’t be afraid to ask and try something new!

Black Wax Cafe

Black Wax Cafe has a new menu item that will not disappoint coffee lovers. This sampling gives you the opportunity to try locally roasted cold brew flavors such as English Toffee, Chocolate Covered Cherry, White Chocolate/Blueberry, and Salted Caramel Cold Brew. Next time you’re craving an espresso martini, text a friend and head over to Black Wax Cafe!

Sweet Peas Play Cafe

This family-friendly spot in Kokomo is known for their awesome coffee, but one of their best-kept secrets is their “Teamonades.” This iced tea and lemonade concoction will have you dreaming of a summer day at the lake without the hangover. Enjoy this tea by itself or add raspberry or lavender syrup for the extra hint of flavor you didn’t know you needed!

As some of you may know, Main Street Cafe was recently purchased by the owners of Whyte Horse Winery in Monticello!
