Bargain Babes Facebook Groups Merge with The Kokomo Post

Exciting news has been announced for the local online community: the popular Facebook groups known as "Bargain Babes" have officially merged with The Kokomo Post, a trusted digital media platform in the region.

This announcement was made across all four of the Bargain Babes platforms Monday, with The Kokomo Post revealing plans to bring even more curated content, exclusive perks and vibrant energy to the group’s loyal followers.

The Kokomo Post will now manage the Bargain Babes communities, bringing their expertise in content creation, audience engagement, and local outreach to the platform. Users can expect the same core values and fun community atmosphere they’ve come to love, while enjoying a fresh wave of niche content, exclusive giveaways, discount codes, and more.

Bree Bragg, a content creator at The Kokomo Post and the original founder of Bargain Babes, created the group in 2022 with the goal of connecting with other local moms to buy and sell trendy, well-kept items in a more curated setting than traditional Facebook garage sale groups. What began as a small community quickly grew into a local staple, leading Bree to expand with three additional groups: Bargain Babes Home, Bargain Babes Wardrobe, and Bargain Bros.

“I started Bargain Babes after I had my daughter, hoping to create a space where local moms could connect and find trendy and quality items for their kids,” said Bragg. “The group grew faster than I could have imagined, and I knew it had the potential to be even more special with our dedicated team behind it. The Kokomo Post team has the expertise and passion to take it to the next level. I’m proud of what I’ve built, and I’m thrilled to see where we can go from here.”

Bree’s vision of expanding the platform’s potential aligned with the broader goals of The Kokomo Post. Owners Drew and Erin Larison, who lead The Kokomo Post and Larison Media, are equally excited about the merger and the opportunities it presents.

“We’ve watched Bree grow the Bargain Babes platform into something truly unique within the community,” said Drew Larison. “When she approached us with the idea to partner, we saw an incredible opportunity. Bargain Babes isn’t just a marketplace—it’s a community, and we’re excited to help it evolve and offer even more value to its members.”

With The Kokomo Post now managing Bargain Babes, members can expect exciting new features, content, and partnerships. Local businesses that fit seamlessly with the Bargain Babes audience will have a valuable opportunity to reach a highly targeted market.

“The niche audience that Bargain Babes has cultivated is a perfect fit for so many local businesses—boutiques, salons, and more,” said Erin Larison. “We believe there’s untapped potential here, not only for growth within Kokomo but also beyond. Our goal is to provide an even more vibrant and curated experience while giving local businesses a unique platform to connect with this engaged community.”

This merger marks the beginning of a new chapter for Bargain Babes, promising even more growth, community-building, and exclusive perks for its dedicated members. Stay tuned for big things on the horizon for both Kokomo and beyond.
