Going back to “reality” after spring break is hard - but the fun doesn’t have to end. Fun events and activities are happening every weekend in Kokomo and we want to share them with you! Here are 8 reasons to get out of the house this weekend.


Karaoke Party at The Kokomo Country Palace

Text your friends and mark your calendars for a karaoke party this weekend! Enjoy singing along to your favorite songs and drink specials at your favorite country bar in Kokomo.

When: 9:00 p.m. Friday, April 8

Koko-Go Free Ride Reopens for the Season

Your favorite free bike-share program is open for the season and they are ready to see your smiling faces! Beginning on Friday, you will be able to rent bikes for free to enjoy Kokomo’s downtown sites and trails. All you need is an ID that states you are over 18 years old, (children must be with a parent or guardian), and a credit/debit card to keep on file in case of damages to the bikes.

Seasonal hours are as follows:
April 8 - May 29: Friday 4:00-9:00 p.m. Saturday 1:00-9:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00-7:00 p.m.
May 30 - July 31: Monday through Thursday 1:00-8:00 p.m, Friday and Saturday 1:00-9:00 p.m, and Sunday 1:00-7:00 p.m.
August 1 - September 1: Monday through Friday 4:00-6:00 p.m. Friday 4:00-9:00 p.m. Saturday 1:00-9:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00-7:00 p.m.
Labor Day: 1:00-8:00 p.m.
September 2 - October 2: Friday 4:00-9:00 p.m. Saturday 1:00-9:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00-7:00 p.m.


Brunch with The Easter Bunny

What's better than a family lunch with the Easter Bunny? Experience an egg hunt, donuts, storytime, and so much more fun at Sweet Peas this weekend! Tickets are $50 per family.

When: 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, April 9

MG Bailey Live at The Coterie

Live Music at The Kokomo Alehouse

Enjoy a two-hour acoustic set from Love 4 Zero! Mike, Rob, and Russell will be taking the stage to bring you entertainment all night long at Kokomo Alehouse.

Easter Egg Charity Hunt

Who says kids have all the fun at Easter? Head over to Palmer's Jewelry for a fun day of hunting for eggs to win some awesome prizes that include diamond earrings and a necklace worth $899! 100% of the proceeds will be going to our furry friends at The Kokomo Humane Society. Refreshments from Mo Joes Coffee House will be available as well as adoptable pets from the Humane Society.

Dan West and Friends at Sun King Kokomo
