The Butterfly Encounter
The Butterfly Encounter is returning to the fairgrounds this year after gaining lots of attention last year. The attraction allows you and your family to get up close and personal with the butterflies by entering the butterfly habitat where you’ll be given nectar soaked sticks to attract the butterflies straight to you. This immersive experience was a fan favorite last year and many are excited to experience it again! The butterfly encounter is located north of the commercial building.
The Royal Bengals Tiger Show
You can experience the connection between man and animals as Bruno Blaszak introduces you to his spectacular family of Bengal Tigers. Blaszak is a third-generation animal trainer and has been caring for and working with Sumatran, Siberian and Bengal tigers his entire life. Bruno and his buddies will deliver a thrilling show which combines education and entertainment for all to enjoy Monday through Saturday in Pioneer Village. And, it’s completely FREE!

Granpa Cratchet
The Howard County 4-H Fair just wouldn’t be the same without our old pal, Granpa Cratchet. The crazy ol’ coot has been gracing the fairgrounds for decades entertaining families and children with jokes, humor and teaching great lessons at Granpa’s Clubhouse. You can see him at the fairgrounds in Pioneer Village at 5, 7 and 9 p.m. daily.
Wheels of Agriculture Game Show
The Wheels of Agriculture is an audience-interactive, trivia-based game show new to the fair this year. The questions are primarily agricultural based and include topics such as local agriculture, animals, plants, food groups, farm and barnyard, music and other sounds — which is the perfect way for you and your family to learn more about agriculture at the 4-H fair!
