First Friday Kokomo

For this Art Task-themed night, you’ll unleash your creativity at different art stations where station masters will be waiting to give you special projects!

Celebrate the grand opening of Lucky Raven Tattoo Lounge (200 N. Main St., Kokomo) and the reopening of Fired Arts Studio (111 W. Sycamore St., Kokomo) at their brand-new locations on September’s first Friday!

Get creative, explore their new space and enjoy all the downtown festivities.

When: 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6

9/11 Memorial Tribute Challenge

Remember the brave lives lost during Sept. 11, 2001 with Saturday’s Memorial Tribute Challenge. Starting at 8 a.m. at Kokomo Municipal Stadium, you can join in on the challenge that features a memorial stair climb, a 5K walk/run and a CrossFit Hero Workout of the Day.

Then the event will head over to the Riverwalk Concert Pavilion for a concert featuring the legendary Mike Milligan & Steam Shovel. There will be a beer garden from The Coterie, pizza from Andy’s Pizza, food from Hawg Heaven and more.

All proceeds benefit the Marty Meyers, Carl Koontz, and FOP Scholarship Foundations.

When: The Memorial Challenge begins at 8 a.m. at Kokomo Municipal Stadium (400 S. Union St., Kokomo)
The concert is from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Riverwalk Pavilion (305 S. Main St., Kokomo)

Summer Concert Series- Uncle Kracker Live at Foster Park

Join the crowd for a night of unforgettable music as Uncle Kracker headlines the Summer Concert Series! Kicking off the evening is RVSHVD and he’s sure to get the party started.

Don’t miss out on this awesome summer send-off for the last concert of the season!

Touch-A-Truck

Get ready for a hands-on experience that’s fun for the whole family! Kids (and kids at heart) can explore a wide range of safety vehicles, sanitation trucks, city vehicles, and more. Come climb aboard and see these massive machines up close!
