Game of the Week - Northwestern vs. Taylor

Friday night’s Kokomo Post Sports Game of the Week, partnered with Robert Miller & Son Furniture, took us to Northwestern High School to see the Tigers play the Taylor Titans on Northwestern’s senior night. The Titans came into the game with an undefeated record and we were ready to see if they would be riding that momentum to take on the Tigers. Right from the rip the Titans had possession of the ball and it was clear they came into the game ready to play. In the first quarter Taylor took the lead with a score 13-9. Northwestern fought back, but the Titans continued their tear into halftime. The Tigers regrouped after their meeting and were showing signs that they were ready to come back to the game and try to take back control. The Tigers pushed the Titans with some strong defense and a tough full court press, but in the end of the third quarter, the Titans continued pushing the game out of reach, 35-27. The Titans finished the night with a final score of 45-36.
