Kokomo Post Sports: Game of The Week- Carroll Cougars vs Northwestern Tigers (Photo Gallery)

This week’s Kokomo Post Game of the Week featured a battle on the Northwest side of Howard County. The Northwestern Tigers hosted the Carroll Cougars on a rainy January night. Northwestern had an eight point lead at the end of the first half, and it appeared they’d be able to cruise to a victory. However, Carroll had another plan in mind. The Cougars fought hard to keep the game close in the second half. Despite Carroll taking the lead with 56 seconds left in the game, Northwestern hit six big free throws to end the contest with a 50-45 win.
